The Spiritual Charismatic Mother of Mercy is a Catholic Religious Community located at Agora, Lapasan , Cagayan, De Oro City, Philippines. This is headed by our spiritual leader Brother Jacob, and we do evangelical mission and biblical worship through the guidance of Holy Spirit and likewise conducted pray over & spiritual healing of the sick people during evangelical mission and biblical worship.
LENTEN SEASON 2008
During this March 2008 Lenten Celebration, the Spiritual Charismatic Group through the guidance of Holy Spirit were having a unique celebration at the mountainous ranges at Sikyop, Gusa , Cagayan De Oro City which was then spiritually named Golgotha as its passage way had the resemblance of Mt. Calvary as being written in the new testament.
Considerable number of people had joined the said penitence wherein some of the personalities had came all the way as far as Mayuga, Guindulman, Bohol, Mandaue Cebu, Gingoog City, Alae, M. Fortich., Bukidnon, and even at the place where the celebration occurred right there in Gusa and Cugman and not to mention personalities coming from poblacion of Cagayan De Oro City who were followers of this religious doctrine. Most likely two hundred persons (200) are accounted during this affair which include children that were willing to participate the Passion of Christ. It started on Holy Thursday at the entrance portion of said place wherein a new chapel of St. Vincent Ferrier was built by a spiritual leader of that place named Santiago.
PASSION OF CHRIST
During Good Friday at exactly 12:00 o’ clock noon under the extreme heat of the sun, station of the cross started, wherein fourteen (14) station must be completed, where all participants are requested to be in their bare foot, excluding the children. Ladies should wear there white blouses and there below knee white skirts while gentlemen are requested to wear there white upper e.g. T-shirts. No one is allowed to neither wear hat nor use its umbrella and all should wear there rosary for ladies and crucifix for men.
It’s a dramatic hiking activity in which others are still carrying there baggage as we will be spending our evening at Golgotha at that Friday night until the Easter Sunday. This reminds me of the famous story of Moses in Exodus in the Old Testament and likewise the carrying of heavy wooden cross by our savior Jesus Christ along the way at Golgotha as being written in the new testament, two thousand years ago. This said activity was really touching as we cruised twice the Bigaan River while the other had to carry their sickly comrade and their wheel chaired companion.
Brother Esteban is the name of the guy who was tasked to carry the wooden cross all the way to fourteen stations in it lasted for about three long & sacrificing hours while carrying said cross and bare footed sacrificing all its tiredness , heat of the sun and thirst, this was his supreme sacrifice for the glory to our almighty God.
KUBADA ERA GOLGOTHA (SIKYOP , GUSA, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY)
During Good Friday & Black Saturday, we spent our night at at said place, Kubada Era, Golgotha. They called this place Sikyop and it is located in an interior portion of the mountain and it is under the Barangay Gusa . A grotto of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal was being located at said place. It is built quite sometime wherein it had a big figure of the lady of Miraculous Medal, standing about four feet (4' - 0") tall (about 1200mm) which was purposely bought from Manila and donated by Assistant leader of spiritual charismatic group in that place Sister Marta and her family.

Lady of Miraculous Medal has its miracle history dated back in 18th century in Paris, France, wherein its miracle had spread out all over the Globe. Considerable number of devotees had ask help from said miraculous lady of medal at that said place in Sikyop , Gusa during this particular activity.
At exactly 3:00 o’clock in the early morning ritual of the rising of Jesus Christ started wherein it signal the start of Easter Sunday. The children were very happy as they performs as angels while they wore locally made wings of angels and they su ng Lord Praising Songs.

This religious congregation can be traced back in the Holy Bible wherein the Holy Spirit of God transmit its holy message through its human medium called prophet and by then the live words of Holy Spirit is the one we hear or receive and yet the human medium or prophet is unconscious as he or she seems to full asleep. These were the method of communication between God and His people during the time of Moises in the Old Testament and also during the time of Jesus Christ in the New Testament.

EASTER SUNDAY MIRACLE
At 8:00 o’clock in the morning, right after the Easter Celebration, spiritual healing started by the Lady of Miraculous Medal, wherein the medium that was used by holy spirit is from Barangay Gusa which was named Brother Pedro, wherein the holy spirit guide him to massage the paralyze part of the body of a young guy named brother Jeffrey. Brother Jeffrey was almost a year that had his lower body paralyzed. At first the said guy had to hold back to the said medium while receiving the massage and healing at standing position but then he slowly to manage himself, which he can stand alone but occasionally hold back to the shoulder of the said medium, Brother Pedro.
STRONG BELIEF TO GOD ALMIGHTY
This was the miracle of Our Lady of Miracle Medal at Sikyop , Gusa which was being witnessed by the group of people who attended the said Easter celebration . Today brother Jeffrey is slowly gaining control on his feet and he do not use any wheel chair and his feet muscle slow back to its original form. This miracle had happened because of Brother Jeffrey’s strong belief of God and also the honest repentance of all his wrong doings likewise through the prayers also of his family, relatives and all the devotees of Spiritual Charismatic Mother of Mercy.
Another account of miracle given by the said Lady of Miraculous Medal was received by Sister Marta, an assistant leader of Spiritual Charismatic in that place of Gusa. As her wish was granted instantly as she was asking for help from the said Lady of Miraculous Medal while she was busy scouting for a job abroad. She was given a job , particularly in Japan without even a single problem in his documentation.
THE TRUTH
This shows that Jesus Christ Our Lord is alive and all who believe in him will be saved and be given eternal life. Nobody reaches Father Almighty without passing at Jesus Christ , for Jesus Christ is said to be the Alpha and the Omega.
THOSE WHO WANT TO VISIT THE GROTTO:
The said place will be reached passing at J.R. Borja Extension (Galaxy) at dead end portion at Barangay Gusa, Cagayan De Oro wherein we have to passed at macadam road (east side) leading to gravel and sand quarry which is about three (3 ) kilometers from the dead end portion, and four wheeled vehicle can still traveled at said macadam road portion. There are commercial trisikad (three wheeled motor) which will go through said quarry area which charge around eight pesos (P8.00) per person.
As you enter the mountainous portion wherein the grotto the Lady of Miraculous Medal is located you have to cruised the Bigaan River, at knee deep water when low tide and hip deep water at high tide, wherein you have to hike for about two kilometers which a little up hill, and the place where grotto is located is a farm and said placed is named “Sikyop” which means interior or inclosed. The said place has so many exit points wherein one exit points is Eco-Village at Barangay Malasag. It is advisable to ask residents along the way as you passed to ensure that you will not be lost as the said place is planted with big tree species.
Upon reaching the Grotto of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, while doing your praising or worship & holy rosary, it is advice that ladies should have to wear their traditional skirt and they have to wear scarf or “pandong”, and be in bare foot at the grotto while praying. Men likewise are required to wear pants and no hat or umbrella while praying, donot wear pure black dress or pants and all watches or necklaces should be hide while saying your prayers.
A lady which is said to be the caretaker of said grotto named “ Nanay Neneng” and is also the incharge of the said farm in which said grotto is located. According to her testimony two or three years ago she had always have a dream of the said Lady of Miraculous Medal requesting “Nanay Neneng” to take care of the grotto and the figures in the grotto itself. Although Nanay Neneng is not a Catholic by religion but she honestly abide by the request of the said Lady of Miraculous Medal until this time.
WORSHIP SCHEDULE:
There is a worship activity right at the Grotto of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal at Sikyop , Gusa, CDO every First Sunday of every month , started at 9:00 in the morning and this is initiated by charismatic leader in that place namely Brother Santiago and Sister Martha.
It will take five to six hours duration of said worship activity wherein first it will have holy rosary, then to hear the message of the lord through its medium or prophet then followed by bible message wherein everybody is entitled to participate its understanding or interpretation of the message from the bible. Then the last part will be the healing and pray-over of the sick then to massage also to the affected area of the sick person. Everybody is requested to purify or to receive holy communion through holy oil and holy water from the spiritual leaders.
You may bring pack lunch during the worship as this will be finished fast noon, however the host, spiritual charismatic group from Gusa prepares a local style lunch which is free for everybody. All who are interested are cordially invited to attend the said worship and also for the pray-over & healing for this illness as this is free of charge and this is a gift from God. The healing process of ones illness depends greatly of his strong belief in God Almighty. All religious congregation are accepted as we are all people of God..
